OK, so a colleague was dismissed yesterday and one of his best friends hasn't showed up. WTF has gone down?

He wasn't clever enough for that. Still feel sorry for him, rubbish reason to get binned. The tiny crumb is that a few people have now had the wind put up them. There's at least one person by whom one can set one's watch..."ah, [REDACTED] has arrived. Must be five past".

The first full week back at work has been a bit of a struggle, but I think I'm finally settling back into a routine when it comes to sleep. Tomorrow we have an appointment to talk to someone about potentially getting a new bathroom, which is quite exciting! I'm mainly excited to see what sort of easy finance options they offer :eyes:

My sleep is fucked. Despite working two days this week I woke up on time this morning and then fell asleep until 1pmish. It's not fatigue, it's just tiredness. Probably the change in eating habits.

My sleep still isn't back to where it should be either. It's all my own fault, but I am struggling to force myself back into a proper routine.
 
I have somehow become part of the Staff Appreciation Committee at work, so I'll now be making cards and giving out candy and coffee? Just what I did not ask for

I did a Quiz of 2023 with my youth group tonight. First question was 'Where was Eurovision held in 2023?'

Thirty four children. Not one even got the country, let alone the city. Not one. Honestly I have no hope for the future if this is what the younger generation are going to be like :(
