I wonder if there is a longer term purpose to this release or if it’s some Dannii randomness?

Or, more likely, season two of I Kissed a Boy/Girl needs a boppable soundbed.
 
I saw something about Eurovision, I hope if she’s involved it’s just reading the results or performing the Neon Nights megamix.
 
Read something online that she has co-written the Oz Eurovision entry with DNA (nothing officially confirmed so who knows).

this sounds good but what's that vocal effect on the chorus? it sounds so fuzzy and cheap.
 
Hm, I mean, Voyager released their song on 21st February, so the timeline for Eurovision sort of fits.

There's no news when I Kissed A Girl is going to air yet. It was filmed last fall though.

I know she's had the All I Wanna Do phone thing going on, but that's a fairly explicit Eurovision reference, isn't it?
 
Oh, it's nice enough. It's probably the most commercial of her recent releases along with We Could Be The One. It's not exactly "breaking through the mainstream" material, but it's alright.

It's also 3:02 long.
 
I mean, since Touch Me Like That she's only done Galaxy as a proper video and this is better than that. It does come off as a video done for a single leading into a greatest hits and she doesn't need more of those, lol.
 
The video is sweet. I thought the song was dog shit after a few listens the other day, but just played it again to be sure and it's really grown on me, though I do think the verses and bridge deserve a better chorus.
