Initial reports from the rehearsal says Dotter is giving 'Hold Me Closer' vibes

And this sounded fairly unspectacular in its one minute clip as well, so I'm really hoping there's something to this.Initial reports from the rehearsal says Dotter is giving 'Hold Me Closer' vibes![]()
Sounds like a pillockMate, Danny's doing things a bit different this time. He's usually all about manically rehearsing everything long before the actual week. He's got a one month old baby in the mix, which might be playing a part in the change-up.
The cocky nonchalance is still there though![]()
Just what we want from our second placerSounds like a pillock

Yep. Poor heat after the nice surprise of last week.Just listened to the clips

Supernatural?Danny's song IS very dated, but what's the closest we've come to that circa 2013 Avicii/Swedish House Mafia sound at Eurovision before now? I guess Heroes?
Notable smashes Light Me Up (Poland 2018), Storm (Estonia 2019) and Look Away (Finland 2019) have all been very much of that ilk.Danny's song IS very dated, but what's the closest we've come to that circa 2013 Avicii/Swedish House Mafia sound at Eurovision before now? I guess Heroes?
This week Albin could've gone DTF if he was a good performer, and Lia, if she were a great singer.Whatever the reason, it's still been pretty clear who's qualifying without hearing a note of music apart from last week's refreshingly open competition.
A curveball would be most welcome this week or next, especially since there isn't the same anticipation around second chance.
It's their fault that they're sticking them on prime time Saturday night television though isn't it!It's not SVTs fault that Albin hasn't done any gigs for the last year nor that Lia "haven't sing for so long time. Maybe 1 year".
Albin can sing and came 2nd in Idol just over a year ago, so he and his label should've made sure he got the practice he needed. It's no wonder if he falls apart live given that he's an extremely anxious person. It's their fault that they're sticking them on prime time Saturday night television though isn't it!
Victor, The Mamas and Anis doesn't count! They had all been featured before!2020
Returnees: 8
First timers: 4 (Victor Crone, Paul Rey, The Mamas, Anis Don Demina)
I don’t understand how she isn’t doing better in the odds.Nothing, NOTHING, can stand in the way of OUR JAC
I think the fault lies with labels and the new artists themselves.I don't know what the solution to that is.
It's difficult to put Dotter as a nailed on finalist based on the studio version. Returning with a slow building ballad is notoriously risky in a contest that naturally favours immediate and uptempo songs.maybe not putting the two most nailed on finalists of the whole run in the same heat as each other would be a good start.
