I’m sorry but this is absolutely iconic now because Mariah showed up!

Let me cover just some of the reasons why:

- the SASS of Mariah’s verse, what’s she going on about? Does it even MATTER?
- Mariahs insistence on strained belting all the way through
- Mariahs insistence to sing half an octave above Ariana at every opportunity, as well as singing an octave LOWER at one point too. You think you’ve got range darling? Watch THIS :disco:
- The Dolphin competition in the last chorus

It’s an absolute racket and my god did I need it, finally the song has PRESENCE.
 
Mariah aside this has fully clicked with me now. Please have the whole album like this even if this has had a relatively poor showing (for her) thus far, all in context obviously.
 
The original is a 10 for me I'm not gonna lie. I absolutely love it. Very happy the Mariah version has been remixed, hopefully for the BETTER

from 38:00 she discusses the media and people's judgments about her in quite an eloquent way - she seems very grounded to me

she also says if there is a tour it will be a short one and not til 2025, "there's a lot of bops", and says she knows some fans will be upset about the album being short.

That leaked last year and does not appear to be intended for any album. This is what she said about it leaking:

[The songs] were all written for a TV show, for something that was not for me. So, "Fantasize" 'comes out' - crazy - was stolen [...] That wasn't my song. It wasn't for me; it was like a parody of a 90's girl group vibe but they loved it, they loved it so much. And I was like 'a) all of you are absolutely hypocrites and b) that's crazy! It's so corny!' But it's okay, I took the note.
 
Fantasize had every Arianator on Twitter in a frenzy during summer 23, what a time to be alive and of course she had to trash it.

The TV show part I didn't know before though, was this intended for Girls 5eva? omg :disco:
