Happy world book day! None of this shop bought nonsense in the Star household :o

I’m trying to find Paris accommodation for the Olympics and failing miserably. It really is fucking insane how everything with a review on Airbnb is outrageously priced.

WHY CAN’T I JUST BE RICH?

 📖 I haven't done anything for (nor read a whole fiction book) World Book Day for ages, haha. In primary school I think I dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood before, Gretel (from Hansel and Gretel), and Lavender from Matilda. 🤗

In high school I summarised the blurb of random books, and won a prize, a mini baking recipe book with a cupcake keyring 😊🧁📕

Why do I find you just SO GOD DAMN CUTE?

Ladybirds, ladybugs.. whatever???

Anyway they’re appearing in DROVES in my flat. What the fuck?

They didn't have World Book Day when I was a nipper because we didn't have that much else!

I'm off to see ASFM fan favourites Alestorm and Korpiklaani tonight (fan favourites by me) for some good old fashioned folk metal drinking pirate shenanigans. WE ARE HERE TO DRINK YOUR BEER

Nina Hossain just called Jeremy Hunt Jeremy CUNT on ITV news. :D

Now some guy just ran past another correspondent who was discussing the ITV loss on advertisement shouting KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE PUSSY. Is it a full moon? :D

They hibernate (technically diapause) during the winter and start coming out again late February/early March. We had loads of them in our kitchen roof, they go inside airbricks and cavity walls and come out when it starts warming up so they can get on with breeding. It's nothing to worry about.

Fab thanks! I know they’re harmless creatures I just felt a bit SPOOKED at seeing so many

OT: Has anyone heard from Nancy? I noticed there’s nothing since his 1 year anniversary in January and we all talked a month ago about it but I think it kinda got lost.

He doesn’t appear to have been on social media (that I’ve spotted) either…

Online today, hopefully just lurking and winning.

It completely freaked me out the first winter I lived here when I saw what looked to be thousands of ladybirds sat around the fascias so I googled it and found out they hibernate. They go in there every year and it's never been a problem although my kitchen's in a single-storey extension so it doesn't really "connect" to the house outside. We get the odd ladybird in the house over winter but just leave them alone and they disappear again (I assume back into whichever crevice they crawled out of).

Hi Moopy.

We went to the Palace of Versailles today. The amount of Instagram and Tiktokers there is insane. It felt like most people weren't there for the history and were only there for fancy photos. It was very odd.
