The theory (and certainly, The Crown leant into it) is that it was Prince Philip who sorted all the behind the scenes drama, so it really started going to shit after his haunted corpse was finally in the ground.
 
Just doing some ALL IMPORTANT research on R ROSE and I discovered she got her degree from Open University (derogatory).

There's no real suggestion the twins are WILLS', are there? IMAGINE the proper heir to the throne comes into question. They'd CERTAINLY never allow THAT! Now that really WOULD bring the monarchy down!

I’m half expecting this! I don’t think she’s got the NERVE to carry it out the way Di did though.
 
I wonder how long it'll be before we get some kind of explanation or truth about all of this. I mean, it's fun speculating , but I'd like to know if she's alive or not.
