7 for me. It’s not truly awful but certainly one of the last singles I’m going to go for.

The only time I've ever really appreciated it was on the X Tour (where it seemed to come alive) but it is a single long since forgotten.

It was so fucking lazy too being a note for note reproduction of the original Kish Mauve track. The fact that she hasn't performed it since 2008 shows that she doesn't care for it much either.

It's poor, but not as a bad as it was disappointing at the time.

If it was track 7 on an album, I'd not hate it as an album track. And that's about the best I can say for it.

Indeed. Again, who in their right mind thought that it should open when you had Like a Drug in second place?

I grew to kind of like it for what it is, but it was certainly a letdown of a lead single and is so disconnected from the album. Not sure what they were thinking. "In My Arms" would've been the ideal opener, imo.

In My Arms was supposedly going to be the choice as lead single, but it being leaked a year in advance gave them cold feet.

I still think coming back post- cancer with a song that’s chorus is literally “love me, love me, love me, love me” was the most obvious missed win.

I do wonder whether beyond Light Years, Fever and Body Language , Parlophone were at a complete loss at what to do with her. I'm trying to recall whether her A&R, Jamie Nelson had moved on by then.

Agreed but this is Kylie we are talking about. She doesn't have the chutzpah nor the arrogance to pull off a move like that.

I really thought I could give it a 'solid 7' but I just couldn't

Underwhelming at the time, and hasn't really grown with any nostalgic charm. especially when we found out what was to come in terms of In My Arms and The One. I didn't like the look, the song, or much about it at all.

No hearts from The Halli-Jury.

Also her and her team are sometimes shit with picking out songs to go on the album proper. Looking at the B-Sides and Unreleased songs from this album and they could have easily picked something better. I do love the idea of going with The One for the “love me” effect but that would be too clever for her team to manage
