apparently the 4th July date is something cynically tied to students not being at home in key battlegrounds like Uxbridge or SOMETHING

I didn’t really understand it

Sounds more like there was leadership battles afoot and Richi Rich decided he was going out on his own terms!

(Wet)

it was an expensive drink though and that bitch wants a return on his spending

You will never be her, Rishi

I really can’t wait for the pictures in the papers tomorrow. Left wing papers having a field day. Right wing papers furiously utilising photoshop to avoid Rishi looking like he’s doing a storm report for the Weather Channel

Rishi Sunak getting piss wet through whilst announcing an election that he’s going to lose. I think I may have detected a metaphor.

It's also the first week of the school summer holidays in Scotland when loads of families will be abroad. They might be hoping it will suppress the Labour vote up here where Starmer needs to pick up seats.

I assume it was professional brexit botherer Steve Bray blasting out D:REAM?

4 July 2024 is also in the middle of Euro 2024. Between the Round of 16 and the quarter finals. The whole campaign might be based on good weather and England (and to a lesser extend Scotland) not getting knocked out early.

Imagine having kids who know the whole country HATES YOU, how do you discipline them, I’d be throwing the polling numbers in his face any time he spoke OUT OF TURN!

If the polls are accurate then shares in Kleenex are going to go ballistic on 5th July.
