I’m in a silent room at a Japanese spa and there’s a deaf couple gesticulating wildly at each other and I am both astounded by their genius and appalled at their lack of respect for the rules and I don’t know how to deal with it internally. :D
 
My brain fog is awful today. It's not even lunch time and I've:

- left my sunglasses in the newsagents (they were in a BASKET on the counter :confused:)
- spent the best part of 20 mins looking for a letter that was literally just sitting on the kitchen counter not even hidden
- wondered why I hadn't put milk in my latte when I'd made an Americano
- went to check the washing machine to see how long the dishwasher had left

Tig Jr's off school and the in-laws are on their way and I think I'm just thrown OFF completely.

I'm also procrastinating something rotten. Like my nice long post this about POPSTARS this morning and this one now. It also seemed to take me an age to shower and get dressed.

Someone FOCUS ME.

We've now had our first Kate Bush, there have two Bowie's, Madonna and Whitney's. Multiple ABBAs and far too many MJ's.
 
We're on our way back to Southampton after 3 ports were cancelled on our cruise :(

Back tomorrow, straight back to fudge making and a hopefully busy half term.
 
If you knew sign language you could have jumped in and told them to shut it

A zipper movement across the mouth is universal but difficult to transfer to the hands. The zipper movement across each hand is probably some kind of mafia signal, or BSL for "I've had your mum".
 
I've never counted my steps, maybe I should. I wonder how many steps my walk in and out of work is of a day? Apparently, it's about 2 miles so 4 miles a day and whatever I might do during my lunch break or in and around...

Greetings again from our Stockholm Japanese spa where somehow we’ve ended up gatecrashing an opening party for the rooftop terrace here, chatted up the maitre d style lady who said we could stay and has plied us with free (actual) champagne all afternoon. 😂😂😂

Weren’t the ports cancelled due to bad weather? They’ll surely have a force majeure clause in the contract, which means they’re not responsible for issues caused by things out of their hands, like the weather.
