SO GLAD Ru did not give into the clownery and give Nina West the win. Sorry, but she's awful. That lip-sync gimmick was so flat, it was Sasha Belle levels of cringe. Especially when the bitch seemed so thirsty to show her "idea" in the past 2 episodes.

Loving the Symone reference with the BeneFACTress Beidge.

Nina's lip sync was so bad nobody is even talking about how abysmal Jorgeous' snatch game was.
 
I hate Snatch Game Of Love in general because the format, to me, works better in regular Snatch Game when the Queens are all together. Separating them out to a few at a time makes the bad really look bad like Plastique and Jorgeous (though RuPaul is going to laugh for his Lil baby J no matter what) and the good Queens have to stay constantly funny with no break because the others suck.

I thought Shannel was the better Liberace BUT Nina made Ru laugh more so that was an easy choice. That said, I don’t see how Nina won over Angie because she definitely had the better runway and also had a good Snatch Game.

The final lipsync was a mess and Nina should be kicked off the show for good :D I was embarrassed just watching it.
 
Not the greatest snatch, I don’t think anyone was memorable. Angeria had her funny southern character, Gottmik was clever-ish. Jorgeous, Vangie and Plastique were clueless.

I was going to say give All Stars a couple more years and get Jujubee back on it. She needs to be reintroduced to the random every few years.

Although if she's going to be as half arsed as she was on UK v The World S1, perhaps not.
 
All Stars could benefit from being once every 2 years, slightly bigger cast and maybe just have the first 4 episodes be non-elimination ones as already there is just no tension in this series whatsoever, which isn't helped by the bizarre judging and presentation of jokes that stretch as far as saying "oh hunty, I'm gaping" with Ru inexplicably screaming with laughter at it. I haven't seen the Untuckeds yet though.
 
I don't quite understand the abject hatred of Nina on here and in other gay internet circles - I enjoyed her on her original season and I'm enjoying her now. She was a clear standout in the Snatch Game.

The lip sync was admittedly indefensible :D It's clearly not her forté in general, and based on the last 3 weeks of wearing the same outfit, she obviously had the same basic routine planned out for whenever she first landed in the top two. Unfortunately, I can't think of a worse style of song for her to be given than 'Banana'.

Other than that, a fairly middling episode. Gottmik, Shannel and Angeria were decent. The rest largely forgettable rather than outright bad, though i have less patience than most for Vanjie just doing the same old thing every time.

I realise I might sound like I have the same hate boner for Jorgeous that some of the rest of you do for Nina, which i don't, but RuPaul's forced shrieks of laughter at her entirely weak and predictable responses really did get my eyebrow twitching.

Gottmik was good although I wouldn't call it a classic and I felt like Angeria was basically just playing an exaggerated version of herself, but yes it was funny...ish.

Nina... Well, I appreciate the talent and POV but it just doesn't land for me.

Vanjie really really not for me. Possibly the most annoying reality tv contestant ever. Jorgeous pointless.
 
I’m enjoying the season because it’s Drag Race and I am always entertained to some degree.

However, despite the badges, there are no stakes and it doesn’t feel competitive. It worked for AS7 as the queens were all killer no filler but when you have queens like Jorgeous and Vanjie who would have been bottom 2 at least 2 out of the 3 weeks it makes it boring viewing.

It was terribly executed. I still maintain my original point, though.

Generally I agree with VoR on this. I don’t get the hate at all. Though Shannel’s Liberace looked much better, I feel Nina won what was another TERRIBLE Snatch Game. It really does feel like it needs a rest at this point.

I also agree with VoR that Jorgeous is much, much worse.

Ok I’ll come out as someone who doesn’t find Jujubee funny. Likeable, entertaining, sure. She hasn’t said a single funny thing in the Pit Stop though and I’m over half way through.

“I would turn up to the opening of an envelope”? I didn’t ijbol.

It just seems to be a case of “She liked that one Amy Schumer tweet so we ALL hate her now!” And that she sucks on toes onstage at her shows and the new era of PRUDE TWINKS think that it’s sexual assault. That said, her drag isn’t at the level of some of the other Queens BUT I still think she’s funny and I quite like that old-school throw some shit on drag from time to time.
