Out today. Good, but not as good as the original, seems to be the predictable critical response. Still at 91% on Rottentomatoes though. I imagine Pixar will be relieved after their recent string of misfires.

I was surprised to learn that Elemental ended up quietly being quite the success for them. Admittedly, it's among the likes of Cars 3, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, etc as opposed to their biggest hitters, but it fared nowhere near as badly as its opening weekend suggested it would.

The first Inside Out is one of the few films that has made me cry. I will need to watch this, but fear that I will be an absolute mess by the end of it.

I loved it. As someone who has never suffered from anxiety, it actually broke it down to make me actually understand more about it!

Very clever and relatable all round. Only down a point because it needed a conclusion to wrap it up, and I don’t think Riley overcoming all of the new obstacles of puberty in the space of a few weeks is quite realistic.

I had the exact same experience with the first one. Easily my favorite animated film of all time.

I think I ran the first movie into the ground because I themed a term of teaching for a Year 1 class around it. But I did like it a lot at first.

May possibly go see this.

I really enjoyed the first movie, but the big emotional beat with Bing Bong never hit me. It came across as a bit too calculated (plus the character and his 'theme song' were both super annoying).

This was an enjoyable watch. About as good as the first one for me, didn’t get me in an emotional sense but neither did the first.

Very funny scene that I can’t say much about I suppose but you’ll know it when you see it
