Off to Hereford today. Will probably only do the cider museum if it pisses down, though.

@Rachey, we've just gone through Abergavenny on the train. Am I right in thinking that the Sugarloaf is that hulking great hill right next to town? Thinking I may see if I can get a friend to come walk it with me while I'm on leave.

Really not enjoying Trooping The Colour this year, why does Claire sodding Balding have to be presenting? I hate her voice. So I'm taping it to fast forward through her bits later, I've put the first load of washing in and am now off to Tesco to lament the bare shelves and high prices.

I've just hand written out a few bullet pointed points on some cue cards for my talk on Sunday. About 300 words max.

My fingers are KILLING, I kept missing out letters while writing, I assume because my brain was going at typing speed, it was just generally a fucking horrible experience!

Happy Nadine Coyle day, mopsy!

Tesco was awful, no stone fruits whatsoever, just a few boxes of dodgy looking strawberries and mouldy Moroccan raspberries (because there's nowt so common as English raspberries) so I ended up with bananas and a bag of easy peelers. Chatting to my checkout lady and she said that they were trying to get other shops to rent floor space so I asked is that why the broken fridges haven't been repaired, because they're short of money? Turns out the fridges, one on each aisle, aren't broken - there just isn't enough food to go in them! Management decided it's better to have empty fridges with the screen down because if they keep them open and spread the food out the bare shelves look worse.

I really fancied a nice nectarine and a couple of juicy plums but instead I called at KFC on the way home for a dirty chicken burger. And I picked the lettuce off before I ate it.

I had washing hung out and because you mentioned rain I looked out of the window and discovered it's bashing down so I ran outside to bring the clothes in and the rain hadn't got them yet because they're under the trees. Brought it all in anyway and have hung it on the maiden.

Do you only go to the gym when it rains?

Didn't need to resort to the Cider Museum in the end. The only heavy rain came while we were having lunch, which was a delicious carbonara and a huge cannoli, which has probably undone all the good the 19,107 steps and counting I've walked today.

I probably ought to walk home from the train station, but I'm too knackered.

Yes that's the one, with lots of criss cross paths at the top and a point.
It was tough, but one of the most beautiful walks I've done!
