Fun to watch but not a great film. One of those gay films everyone should see once but not something I would purposefully put on again.

Joan Collins and, I think, in a separate story Kim Novak (who replaced Rita Hayworth who flew home, it is rumoured, having forgotten she was filming a film. Hayworth and Novak had previously starred in the former's final contract film for Columbia, Pal Joey (1957) in 1957).

Very good, and Giorgio Moroder's score is wonderful too.

Try the 1942 original too, it's fantastically moody. It's on the BBC iPlayer.

I almost bought a poster of this by mistake on ebay. Maybe it's just not fully out yet?

@Pipo did this make a splash domestically? (it's a Mexican/Spanish production)

I'm not a fan of anthology films as a rule but watched this purely for Joan and it's fun campy watch, though be warned the second story in the antique shop is a bit of a slog and almost kills it dead.

It's currently out in España, it should eventually land here but I don't know when yet! It's on streaming tho.
