Weathers a bit grim up north. Looks like another trip to the vet (£££) as dog looks to now have an ear infection on top of the eye infection we’ve been treating for the last couple of weeks.

I'm off to ~PR*III*DE~ in London.
Will be a slightly different experience heading to the kiddies area with Tig than other years. Tried to explain to him yesterday how we're getting on the train to go to London to CELEBRATE LOVE and hated how corporate I was making it sound.

Hideous visit to the vets for me today.
After finding a heart murmur in my cat, a second appointment showed it was “much improved” but todays appointment showed it was “very pronounced”.
Pre-existing condition so no insurance cover and possibly looking at £800+ for a cardiology assessment and a waiting list of god knows how long.
Obviously the wellbeing and quality of life of my cat is the most important thing, so I will pay it. It’s just bizarre though… he’s such a happy funny cheeky little kitten with bags of energy, a good appetite and is growing and behaving completely normally? He absolutely doesn’t appear to have a single issue.
I’ll be glad to go to bed tonight.
