UK General Election 2024 - Results Day (1 Viewer)

Vince Cable sitting on the table! Vince Cable sitting on the table! Vince Cable sitting on the table! We've run out of chaaaaairs.

Baker trying to argue that having won the last election means that the exit poll result is still good for them. I can’t even with the delusion.

Well i don’t like those exit poll numbers

130 seats for Tories seems high
Reform go from 3 to 13 seats between the last YouGov poll and the exit poll?
Rees Mogg is 50-50 keeping his seat

Ugh

Seem to have done the right thing voting with the tactics (Lab) rather than the heart. One of the pub friends did exit polling for them and reckons it's VERY tight here.

We share constituency with a very working class town though so there's hope of flipping back to red - but it's close.

All to play for. I seem to remember getting a lot more hope from exit polls either last time or time before than represented reality due to shy Tory syndrome...and maybe in this case shy Reformer

He is being slaughtered live on air.

Good.

It would have been NICE to have the Tories down to 70 seats or so but I never really expected it :(

I hope Sunak is crying in the kitchen right now Theresa May style.

One assumes Sunak will remain an MP but resign as leader...how long before he jacks it in and fucks off to California?

You have run in Sunderland when you have something of value in your hands at the best of times.
