I'm trying to remember when a girl band member came out swinging like this. It's giving Look at Me / Goin' Down levels of CUNT. Not quite Crazy In Love, obviously. But Real Girl and Fight for this Love could never.
 
Naked was mothering, that's for sure. But only after the first two singles left the girls gagging for something more.

This. Totally.

I have so little interest in current pop music, but listened to this three times in a row last night and felt absorbed in something new that I haven't felt for a long long time. It feels special; it's just whether it's proper mainstream special or the kind that will be forever revered by internet gays while being completely forgotten by everyone else.

I have no idea what I’ve just watched and listened to but it feels very important. Who knew we could still do personality pop in 2024?

I would have actually shat everywhere if this was announced as our Eurovision song; it feels so RIGHT for it.
 
This is great, and I'll have it on rotation as I don't want to get left behind in what is certainly a big moment.

I can't help but feel that all the chat about how fresh and different and crazy whiplash disjointed it is has been overblown slightly though, especially just after Joyride.

c'mon love - Joyride is incredible but it's quite a straightforward banger. this song is much more strange.

Joyride is a banger but that insane unofficial video really takes it somewhere else.
 
Let's not pit AomD and Joyride against one another. They both slap. It's like summer '09 again when our (big?) pop girls remembered to Cater 2 the gays first and foremost. As they should :disco:

I don’t think she cares that much. Same for Leigh.

They’re both very rich and have high-level footballer partners (even more rich) and babies. I just don’t think there’s any drive.

Jade on the other hand… she clearly has the drive and hence she will probably be much more successful.
 
I mean, I guess I look at it like this…

The only major jobs they’ve had in their 30 odd years of life are as singers, and successful ones. So it makes sense they’d continue doing it but with millions in the bank, footballers and babies, where’s the motivation?

And what’s the perspective? Perrie wheeling out uninspired mid-tempo songs about wearing a cosy cashmere sweater and drinking a latte?

Leigh is fine but her R&B leaning venture feels void of identity, plus her voice is kinda weak.

That leaves us with Jade, who is doing poppers with the gays at 4am. It’s an easy win.
 
I can only echo the love. Absolutely fucking sensational, in the most fun and exciting way

I do hope it can be a hit, not just a too-good-for-the-straights anthem in fragrant corners of the internet such as this.
