Not a pop star I’ve historically had much/any interest in - I always thought of him as basically a punch line, knowing only his cameo in The Wedding Singer and the odd clip of White Wedding on retro shows - but I’ve been quite hooked on this since it popped up on a TOTP re-run the other week. Dare I say SULTRY GEM?

My oldest sister loved Billy Idol so I’m very familiar with most of the singles from them blasting out of her room back in the day. This is one of his best efforts for sure.

The Hot In The City video (the second time he released it not the first) was one of my earlier realisations that maybe girlfriends weren’t going to be my thing.

Not really a fan of him but I also had a recent discovery of this - I went back to old charts during lockdown in search of 80s and 90s hits I might have missed, and this was one of my unearthed highlights - I have no childhood memory of it, but it's gorgeous and a definite keeper.
