Hello. The forecast on Friday said that today and tomorrow would be nice. By last night, it had changed to "oh no it won't be, soz". And so it be.

I have one of those telephone hospital appointments today. They still feel weird to me - part of me likes the journey.

I’m off to Formentera

APPARENTLY

So far we’ve sat on the tarmac for two hours whilst they find another pilot. “Dan” has appeared and told us three times that he was “in the gym” and, once, even “Mid bicep curl” when he was called, but has not had the decency to stroll through the cabin and let us see for ourselves.

I’m enjoying the baby in the row behind me whose parents seem to be encouraging to “enjoy” playing with the tray table behind my seat.

I’ve left my business in the hands of someone who’s only been with me for two weeks, so that’s fun and not stressing me out at all.

I thought going on holiday was supposed to be nice and relaxing.

Formentera is lovely, sleepy though. I always felt it would be a nice place to retire/see out a zombie apocalypse

Doc phoned early. Call was less than 3 minutes. I was midway through a breathing exercise on Finch too. "How are you?" I'd have been calmer if you'd called two minutes later. :D

It’s what we want, to be fair. I’m still going to have to work and we just want a week of chilling out as much as possible.

I had to go out for a walk there - you know when you're tense and stressed and you know that you have to just MOVE and it's the only option? Anyway, it's pissing it down so I got a bit soggy but I feel much better.

Yeah. Had a nice time. Not sure (that kind of) cruising is for me, though. I think I would have got bored quickly if it had been longer.
Yeah I get that. I find it I have more than a couple of days at sea I can get a bit bored. Most of ours (apart from the Iceland one), have been a different port and country every day which has been good.

How was the food and entertainment?

The food was amazing. Properly 10/10 good. Even the buffet style restaurant was made to order rather than help yourself.

The entertainment was mostly a bit 18-30 for me. I was happier just being a bit quieter.

Ah the 18-30 is interesting. We've never done Virgin but do find some lines too young and busy.

We love a Fred Olsen cruise because it's so much quieter and you can always find a nice spot by the window.

Cruise food is generally good tho.
