To be fair Asda Hulme DOES have a McDonald’s inside it.

My local choices are Waitrose or Iceland - and Waitrose tends to be much cheaper!

Morrisons can be hit or miss, they're either stunning huns or challenging Asdas in the grimbag stakes.

Sainsbos is my goto, I can see my local one from the front door. Can't beat an occasional overdraft rape in M&S though.

The weird thing about a Nectar card is that I never seem to shop in Sainsbury's, certainly never do a major shop in there, yet somehow I seem to amass QUITE A LOT of Nectar points, spend them and then 12 months later when I check, there's a load more there again.

I have NO IDEA WHY.

Tesco annoys me with the loud bird noises it plays. Is it supposed to put off people hanging around the entrance/exit?

My Mum's got HACKED the other day and someone spent all of hers. Maybe you're being reverse burgled?

I would assume that's to discourage ne'er-do-wells from hanging about.

Hamilton Train station used to have that and said only under 18s could hear it.

30 year old me begs to differ
My next door neighbour got one of those mosquito alarms that only teenagers can hear when spawn was a teenager. I could feel pressure in my ears every time it was on, very unpleasant. I went round and asked him nicely to switch it off, he said no so I bubbled him up to the council and they made him switch it off.

I’ve currently got £126 worth of Nectar points just from silly things like getting anything from 10-200 bonus points for buying things I always buy.

I once bought the Christmas lunch on their pre-orders for the family just on Nectar points!

I don't particularly like Asda, but do go twice a week as it's next to where I work on Tues and Weds. I can link the app with my Blue Light card for loads more bonus points.

I've £82 saved up for Christmas despite basically because cat biscuits always seem to have an offer on them. All I really buy there is cat biscuits, my lunch and fruit.

I had a good long toddle again myself today. It's been good for me and I must start trying to get out and about at weekends again when I go back to work.

I havent been outdoors all day. Fuck that. It was horrid.
