Why do the silhouettes all look like they've come from the "Help I've fallen and I can't get up" adverts?

I thought Pumpkin had all gone now, but I noticed last week they are still at Gloucester.

But does it have a pumpkin cafe?

Sadly not! Isn't Pumpkin more suited to URBAN JUNCTIONS and the like?

I imagine it being more of a Clapham Junction / Manchester Oxford Road type of location...

I discovered to my delight that Pumpkin exists outside of railways. There is one in the hospital on my road, so I'm wondering how socially acceptable it would be to visit a hospital purely for mediocre coffee.

It has semi decent Google reviews. Either the sick and impaired aren't the best judges (whodthink) or perhaps even Pumpkin draws the line at poisoning people on NHS grounds.

After nuclear war they’ll just be the cockroaches left and one solitary branch of PUMPKIN.

I'm sure the premonitions will hold true, and the cockroaches will evolve (devolve) to enjoy the fruit machines

By this point, it was around 3pm and we were disappointed to find there were no roast dinners left, but I suppose that's what we get for strolling in at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation!

HOW DID THIS PASS A SUB EDITOR?!

I don't understand why they didn't just walk back, it was only an hour.

When people in the media industry say Reach PLC has gone to shit, this is what they mean.

Well that and the fact they've taken a bunch of local newspapers and shifted their strategy to 'what if the Daily Mail showbiz page was run through chatgpt six times'?

Yeah its awful awful journalism. Staffers are expected to produce EIGHT articles a day now - impossible not to just be churning out utter DOGSHIT.

Do Reach publications get any traction online? I’ve never seen such a shitshow interface in my life. There are more ads than there are words. Every time I click on a link and unwittingly end up on a Reach site I die a little inside.

We spoke to them a while back about buying ad inventory and the number of impressions they serve is staggering. Seems no matter how bad the UX is people are still stupid enough to click on their dogshit headlines and at least be served around 8 units before rage quitting the site.

Naturally, we didn't give them any money, but basically that is their whole business model. Shit quality landfill content generating low quality ad views.

You’d have to be an idiot to buy with them honestly. Clearly a platform run by someone who sees websites as 100% revenue, 0% experience. Great for Reach, bad for advertisers.

I wouldn’t want my ad sandwiched between Butlins discount codes, a link to buy diet pills from Azerbaijan and a YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT SHE LOOKS LIKE NOW pic (of Judy Garland aged 5)

Vaguely knowing the daughter, I expect she knew exactly what she was doing when she purchased said calendar.

The 118 bus route in South London is being axed in February 2025. The 45 bus route is being rerouted to cover the stops that the 118 currently services.
