I nearly passed out when the title sequence was five-time Academy Award nominee Nicole participating in a FLASH MOB DANCE to a Meghan Trainor song.

That being said, it's good soapy fun so far.

Also, I may just be Housewife-pilled, but I'm genuinely convinced that Nicole is at least partially basing her frosty rich matriarch character on Lisa Vanderpump.

I thought this was going to be PRESTIGE TV until the flash mob dance opening credits. Should have known really being on tacky old Netflix.

It was a breezy watch though. Enjoyed it.

You cannot imagine how aghast I was to hear the theme song, love it, and only learn to it is a Meghan Trainor track.

It certainly is good soapy fun (and honestly exactly what I need from a limited series - I don’t want to have to think). Nicole feels a little underused though.

I watched 5 episodes on a nine hour flight so my tolerance was compromised.

It is definitely NOT the White Lotus.

It's the White Lotus if the script for that show had been written by AI.

It remained watchable, but I felt at the conclusion the way I suspect @Madison feels at the end of an episode of Murder, She Wrote. The denouement was offensively tossed-off and random.

Also, sorry to be that person, but Nicole's face work is really starting to enter the uncanny valley again. The only thing that distracted from it was the occasional appearances by actual waxwork with eyes Isabelle Adjani.

Ok, pushed through episode 2. There's no SUBTLETY, no SUBTEXT. It's just so surface level.

I mean I'll finish it now but it's really no better than any itv drama that doesn't contain Olivia Coleman
