It’s a really shit proposal. But at the same time I can never understand why people go to overcrowded pubs where people are piling outside to stand up and drink in the street.

I’m in a little dinner group at work and we always arrange to meet at a pub first, but frequently find the chosen one to be too busy. The first people to arrive just move on to find one that’s less crowded. Have never once failed to find a better option within a decent walking distance.
