Hello.

Chilly today. Also, was up and down like a yoyo last night with an upset stomach so I was kinda over today before I got up.

I still don’t understand why perfectly sane people think Meta is a) taking something they’ve reposted on their instagram stories as a declaration of non- conformance or b) that interested in their boring photos anyway.

I'm always tempted to remove people who share those posts. Sometimes it's even people I thought were pretty sensible sharing it.

That’s my social media rule, though- you don’t get removed for just being stupid. You do for being a cunt.

The mute or hide button is useful in those circumstances, I find.

I love the hide button. Apparently most people don't even use FB anymore. It's no longer cool.
I use it as a place to store my photos. And post stories. I'm clearly not cool.

I never use FB. I even deactivated my account last week but then realised I have to have it active for the things I’ve used FB as my login for.

Literally both of which you can do on Instagram far easier…

(And cooler…but only by comparison to the shithole of FB)

True, but until recently you could only upload 10 photos at a time on Instagram.

Plus I like having separate folders on FB.

I have Facebook, Twitter/x and instagram, but only engage with them all passively. I never post content any more.

Why do I have one particularly long pube? I've just noticed it in the bathroom at work - must the lighting. Quite disturbed, it must be removed forthwith.

I notice mine seem to spring out of nowhere nowadays. "That'll do" on Tuesday and "FUCK ME, it's the Amazon" by Friday.

Ear hair is suddenly the same. I feel like I'm trimming that and my eyebrows every WEEK at this point.

Actually, just checked my twitter, and I did report something by Terrible Maps in July this year, which I think was probably by mistake as I have no recollection of it, and it isn't particularly interesting. Prior to that it was 2017, which is what I would have expected.

I last posted on Instagram in February 22.

Facebook I last posted my Eurovision scores.

My eyebrows are thankfully still fine. I can go a couple of months without attention.

But ear and nose hair absolutely comes from nowhere. And it seems to be getting increasingly lustrous.

They eyebrows are insane. I look like LARRY HAGMAN by a Thursday.

I get one particularly long eyebrow hair and it's always the same one. My nose is particularly TICKLY lately but I can't tell if it's a new sprout of nose hair or my moustache that's doing it...

Where the nose meets the tache I seem to have a group of hairs that grow in a bewildering array of directions. The ones that tickle most seem to be tache hairs that grow up into the nose.

And yes, here's the other thing, my moustache (whilst QUITE) bushy, is JUST NOT BUSHY ENOUGH. But everywhere else, you fucking STOP my hair growing.

Although it’s getting there.

I had a proper asthma attack during the night, it was so frightening, I really thought I could die when it kicked off properly and I couldn't get any breath in my body! Luckily I knew what to do and it was all sorted within fifteen minutes but it was all I could do to stop Mr F calling 999. I'm OK now but have to have an emergency appointment with the asthma nurse and hopefully she'll give me some steroids.

All because the boss brought her cold to work last week and shared it around generously.

I use Facebook for some videogame collecting groups I'm in, but get so frustrated if I look in the column that's filled with articles/posts that deliberately show unflattering pictures and get details wrong, that are presented as if being innocent, just to get clicks, etc. It's just mind numbingly insulting and I can't wait to be fully finished with the book. It would also be a shame not to in some way stay connected with people you haven't seen in such a long time, bit at the same time just as many have clearly deactivated. It's quite odd to me when people request to friend me on it as I'd much rather they follow me on instagram where I can subject them to the same selfie every other day and blast my latest bangers at them.

Honestly, it's infuriating. "Oooh, I can't go off sick, I'm too important/been off already/have no sick pay left" and then everybody gets it off them.

It's infuriating, but then perhaps some employers need to be more understanding that being sick is part of the human condition.

Oh totally. I've seen people on disciplinaries because they had three sick days in a year, all for a recurring condition of which the managers were fully aware. Ridiculous.
