Sunday's matchmaking in the hospital

She has a point and I have yet to meet an unattractive physiotherapist but we came to the prize question:

"Are you sure he's into men?"
"Well, we have been talking to all the female nurses and no one seems to be flirting with him."

Truly conclusive evidence :D

Go in with your HOOP on display, that should WORK IT OUT.

I’ve had quite a lovely weekend so far. Went out for some day drinking with Mr Sheena yesterday, but home by 7, in bed by 9, woke up fresh as a daisy. Have done the car boot, had a swim, made a chicken casserole for the week and now having a coffee and listening to the records I found.

God I feel smug.

Blimey Sheena, it's only 1020!

I woke up 30 mins ago, had a wee, got back into bed.

I'm getting up in a bit and going for a roast.

I'm still in bed and can't even be bothered to have a wee yet

Mr Sheena is being lazy and it’s annoying me. I just want to get going today for some reason.

Aldi big post holiday shop done.

Off pumpkin picking soon with the nieces. Which, although a bit LIVE LAUGH LOVE, will be fine as I intend to make a spiced pumpkin soup later this week.

Although it's hitting 22 degrees later this week.

Had a nice walk there. It's fresh, dry and autumnal. Now munching on a Lidl pretzel.

Just whipped up some green tomato chutney for the festive period. Truly autumn has started.

Why are you moving Nance?
When I moved into my current place, I literally had to take the first place that came along that was halfway decent. It was always intended to be a stopgap solution. I've been there for 5 months now and am now starting to look at what's around. I can take my time and am under no pressure to find somewhere so can look at places more subjectively and on their own merits.

Where I am at the moment is too crowded (it breaks HMO rules) and there is a barking dog.

Bugger - just found out my neighbour's POPPED HER CLOGS, just when I'd got used to her and she'd stopped doing ENDLESS RENOVATIONS. God knows what cunt will move in next

I’m drinking 0% lager and it has a peculiar aftertaste.

Today has been pretty pleasant and indeed wholesome. The pumpkin picking shit was pretty charming in it's middle classness, the weather was delightful, the kids cute and the roast a strong 7.5/10 (a nice spread, but the potatoes could have been better, and please roast your vegetables. Points for the pigs in blankets, stuffing and the butchers meat).

I don't get pumpkin picking. Don't you just go to a field where workers have placed pumpkins earlier that day, and pay three times what you can get one for in Tesco?

Yes

Oh the pumpkin picking was just the draw, but it was nice for the kids with a hay bale castle, wheelbarrows, slides, various other activities and having a run around.

And for the adults having a coffee, cinnamon bun, fresh air, country side scenery and watching hot rich dads.

It was nice way to spend an hour on a pleasant autumn afternoon.
