Wednesday can't bring itself to post the 100 GIFs it prepared for this moment

So glad I took the day off. I've had about 3.5 hours kip. Will definitely return to slumber at some point, with the heating on and kitty by my side.

Hence, this definitely does not feel as upsetting as 2016. Even though it is as catastrophic.

I proper love R.E.M. right enough. I;ve gone right back to them because of the current series of What Is Music? which is about them and boasts the gloriously awkward title of "R (w)E Mjoying this?"

I had a ROW in bed with Mr Sheena last night which carried on this morning for NO REAL REASON and it's DISCOMBOBULATED me, but then that might be Donald Trump or the fact I had three wines and two beers last night.

MORNING.

My mum's house got burgled last night, while she and her husband were in it!

I mean, she did have the front door on the latch because it had been painted, but still....she was in the house!

My poor broken island :(

CHECK THAT FUDGE MAN HAS AN ALIBI

Must be MERCURY IN RETROGRADE or some shit because Ms Ron has had a face on for at least 24 hours. Thankfully she's in the office.

I'm the one who is supposed to be on a whopping comedown!

Let's LEAVE OUR SPOUSES.

YOU GO FIRST.

Ooh how come?
Desperately clutching at anything positive today
Woke up with stuffed up sinuses and a headache which the news is NOT HELPING

Both sides pretty much promised it in the run up. Trump is more likely to just get on with it and follow the least past of resistance to get it over the line federally. He actually voted yes on a Florida amendment to legalise there yesterday, but it didn't quite make the 60% it needed even though it got more yes votes. Its an easy crowd pleaser over there.

What’s that got to do with us getting it here though?

Wish I’d brought more back with me in September, as I’m almost certainly not going back to that cesspit for 4 years now

It's generally believed that the federal legalisation of cannabis will be the game changer that sets all the dominoes falling globally. Canada technically violated quite a few UN treaties on drugs but it was ignored, when the US starts violating those treaties they'll be changed to accommodate because of the size and influence of the US.

Along with Germany working with the EU to legalise cannabis in a way that works with conventions, these fairly influential countres are creating the frameworks for other countries to legalise without a lot of hassle. The reason Germany hasn't legalised commercial sales yet isn't because they don't want to, is because it then means any illegal country would be in breach of EU policy by not letting Germans sell weed into say France, which is bonkers. Once that all gets fixed, it's going to be impossible to keep that genie in the bottle.

We've a lovely old Edwardian (I think) toilet turned into a cafe.

There were some LOVELY old Victorian underground ones just off the city centre - all terracotta and green tiles, but they were filled in years ago :(

Last time I was in Bristol, I was absolutely AMAZED to still see the TIN one still standing (but closed) in that park at the top of Filton Avenue. (I think...I might be getting the places wrong)

They were FERAL back in the day :disco:
