I WOULD LOVE

Album - Cowboy Carter
Song - Birds of a Feather
Record - Espresso
Pop solo - Bodyguard
Duo - Levii's Jeans
Pop vocal - The Rise and Fall...
Dance-pop - Got Me Started / Von Dutch

but wouldn't be surprised if Bey goes home empty handed.

because it's incredible. actually as the dust has settled possibly my fave on Brat. and definitely the most dance choice for this category.
Assuming there is a reason she's went with a different song in each category, I would have went 365 or B2b. Von Dutch is the weak link of the songs that aren't about children

I feel like someone else is being snubbed (apart from Ava Max).

you have more shot at winning if your song was a bit of a hit. that's why Von Dutch is in there and not 365. these ancient, cobweb-spunking grammy voters think B2B means business to business.

Ariana rarther SHORTCHANGED here
felt inevitable no? the album kinda came and went, spawned just one proper hit, and came out before almost all the other big hitters this year.

MEDIOCRE POPSTAR :(
This coming from the person single-handedly keeping the Meghan Trainor thread alive?

Seriously who is Taylor Swift fucking with :D

“The Tortured Poets Department" is not a Grammy nomination-worthy album!

NO OFFENCE

it is a really strong album on its own merits. just bloated, a touch unexciting in a year like this, and people are bored of her. I think the nomination is fair, she's had lesser material recognised.

a) I worship at the altar of Outkast
b) My standard mode of being is HIGH AS A KITE (even though this is never actually the case nowadays :()
c) What others deem 'pretentious bullshit' seems to be my genre of choice in pretty much everything

And yet even my mad self was unable to make it through the fustian flautist FLAPDOODLE of New Blue Sun. I think I gave up halfway into 'That Night in Hawaii When I Turned into a Panther and Started Making These Low Register Purring Tones That I Couldn't Control ... Sh¥t Was Wild' no joke. Surely someone at the Grammys is trolling even harder than Dré himself!!

Taylor and Billie went home empty handed. I liked a fair amount of Tortured Poets but i don’t think the album or “Fortnight” were necessarily award worthy. I wonder if it will send her spiraling like it did when reputation lost.

Billie, on the other hand, probably deserved album of the year. Interesting too because she’s usually a Grammy darling. But votes could have been split amongst the pop females.

she looked very teary eyed when Bey won AOTY, not sure if she was happy for her or upset for herself. but she's only 23 and as Bey's win shows, these things take time.
