Drag Race UK: Season 6

I loved this episode SO MUCH, as I have the whole series.

If Lill doesn't make the final, I will die.
 
Oh and I can't believe that, after weeks of disliking Charra, when it came to her sashaying away I was PRAYING for a double shantay. But I didn't want anyone to go home in front of their mum :(

She already channeled Geri very well so let’s hope for some Victoria Beckham-style dry humour this time to keep our queen safe
 
Stand up comedy feels like something Lil should do well at. I’d expect Rileasa to struggle, with either Kyran or Marmalade joining her in the bottom because I just can’t see La Voix flopping.
 
FINALLY Marm wins a challenge! Like everyone, I feel this win should have come earlier, but a deserved win nonetheless.

I hope she keeps the momentum to make the top 4 with Kayran and La Voix most probably. Fingers crossed for Lill :disco:
 
The only way Kyran and La Voix aren't both making the finale are if they are both bottom two next week and Ru doesn't pull a double shantay. There's no way Ru would lose either to any of the others.
 
I really wanted Lill to win this week but hey ho.

It was a lovely episode. What a treasure Charra turned out to be in spite of everyone writing her off from episode one and willing her to be bad just because they dislike Blu Hydrangea.
 
Lill’s Mum was truly transformed and looked like a genuine Vegas whore, Marm’s fashions have been exceptional but the Clueless reference was lazy and tired, and her Mum’s make-up quite SEVERE.
 
How did not a single judge clock that Marmalade’s Mum looked just like Mae West in drag?
 
Anyway, I REALLY want La Voix to win. It’s been so long (Bianca?) since we had proper old school drag win and she’s been genuinely lovely and genuinely brilliant.

Kyran is a bit annoying and this week was so OBVIOUS it was just boring. I mean, super talented, but I’m kinda over it.

Charra was by far the worst in week one and would have probably gone home had there been an elimination.

Unlike Blu, sticking around did wonders for Charra and her likeablity.
 
It's hard not to think of La Voix winning next week. I'm half anticipating Kyran to be bottom two as a ploy to show vulnerability and humanise her a bit.

Even if that happens and gives La Voix one more win, I still think Ru will be more inclined to reward Kyran with the win. With DRUK he seems to have something of a pattern of crowning the queens who did better first rather than the one with later momentum.

Still think we could be on for a double crowning.

Like DC said wanting a double save which included Charra seems bizarre but they are so endearing
 
Ru seems to love La Voix's old school drag so wouldn't be surprised to see her as the winner over Kyran. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I could also see her saving Rileasa Lisa over Marm before the finale, which would not feel correct. We haven't seen Marm lip sync yet either so no idea if she would win over Rileasa (although not sure that matters anyway if Ru has made up her mind)
 
I think we could be on for a double crowning, because...

The prize on UKvsTW2 was £50,000 and the prize here is £25,000.

£25,000 x 2 = £50,000

We did see Marmalade lip sync for the win in her first episode.
 
Just catching up, but QOL status and a knighthood for La Voix's dad please. So annoying how old men like Captain Tom can get the accolades and recognition they do while men like him get ignored.

Glad Marmalade got a win but agree she probably wasn't the strongest this week. I'd have gone for Lill whom the editing gave quite a quiet week to. Those tattoos were inspired!
 
I really didn’t think Marmalade’s roast was as bad as the judges said it was! Second behind La Voix if anything.
 
Lill's was fabulous fun when it started going wrong, and Marmalade's was FINE, just a bit close to the bone
 
I found the whole roast very hit and miss. Kyran definitely should've been in the bottom. The lip-sync was rubbish.

La Voix was the only standout and I hope she wins.
