I can't sing for toffee but imagine being able to sing like Adele and the like. It must be such an amazing feeling knowing you are wowing massive audiences like that

Do you ever wonder why our voices are not like that? Is it just luck of the draw in life?

Would you want that kind of lifestyle in the spotlight? Yes the money would be fantastic, but how about everything that comes with it?

Well I wouldn’t want to sing like Adele. Rather unpleasant voice all round.

Irene Cara and Kathy Sledge have always been the singers I most wanted to sound like.

I wouldn't want to be a famous singer but I'd love to have an amazing singing voice that could carry and hold a note because I love to sing. Unfortunately when I do sing everybody looks on silently in horror or there's hysterical laughter. Probably why my Karaoke choices are shouty, sweary songs with the bare minimum of actual tune.

I do understand there is a lot of technique and skills involved in singing but some notes are just unreachable for normal people, if you really go for it the voice will crack, if you try for the lower key it will sound flat, if you try to disguise it it will show fake and amateurish if not completely off.
