This is not a drill: Ed Sheeran is readying a "big pop" album for 2025. He may have released not one but two studio albums last year, but 2024 has passed us by with just one single release from the busiest man in pop. But don't worry - it looks like there will be a lot to come from Ed next year.

I don't think we'll get albums from Charli XCX or Sabrina Carpenter because they'll be doing a victory touring lap as well as films etc. Chappell Roan will release a new album in the second half of the year and everyone will rush to tell you how bad it is despite being a head-height better than the debut.

All 3 members of Boygenius will deliver new solo albums - Phoebe Bridgers is allegedly mixed and ready to go. We'll get the last two "Taylor's Version"s but no new Taylor Swift album. The Cure will actually deliver on a promise for once and will release another new album late in 25. Morrissey will finally persuade someone to release his shelved albums and they will be laughably shit.
 
Yes I think Taylor will be taking a "break" after the ERAS tour for all of next year. (Maybe even a pregnancy?) Reputation TV out to capitalise on Christmas but with minimal promo.

Kate Bush will release a Christmas message of at least 12 LINES :o

Chappell I've no idea. I'm sensing her scrapping the Good Luck Babe album and going quiet tbh.

L. Gaga and Lana will release around March time and I think will both disappear quickly. :(
 
I think ADELE will be back as well. It'll be a sort-of flop like 30 was. She'll have stopped the numbers theme and her album will be called something groundbreaking like "ADELE".
 
The new Blondie album is apparently really happening this year, and Garbage have got an album coming in spring.

Brandon Flowers was working on another solo record ages ago, that must be due.

Another Dagny mini album, unless she has given up on that plan.

There should be a Self Esteem album, and a maybe a CMAT one.

Don’t know about releases but I’ve a stack of gigs in the first half of the year. Most of which are largely filed under the “gay male of a certain age category.

Lady Gaga will either be 2025's main event or flop after-party. Either way, looking forward to it.
