In sort-of cable management news, the old monitor that I use as second screen when working at home has become increasingly temperamental over the festive period. I have had to tape the HDMI adapter to my banana hook (what you hang a bunch of bananas on) in an effort to stop the screen going green or switching off when I am typing.
 
I ended up sleeping in until 12. Mr Ag in the meantime has completely deconstructed Christmas. What a treat to sit idly by.
 
Moopy, for my flight out to Bueno's Aires I downloaded a load of episodes of Call the Midwife, thinking I'd have enough for the flight home as well. But I watched them all.

I now can't access BBC iPlayer out here unless I download a VPN. Any idea of a good free one, and if it's worth doing?

Just watch the same episodes again. The plot is the same every week.

In my quest to watch Handmaid's Tale many years ago I tried several free VPNs and none of them were any good and at least one installed malware on my laptop.

Can't you watch them on Youtube or something?

Oh that's good to know. I was wondering if they might cause an issue.

I'll try YouTube and see if I can download.

@Rachey I think the paid VPNs tend to offer 7 day trials/30 day money back guarantees etc, and supposedly they're quite a good thing to have even outside of being able to access international streaming content, or so Youtubers tell me whenever they're being sponsored by one.
