Those opening piano bars are a true 90s moment. It’s a ten before the beat has even kicked in.

And that CRUNCHING rhythm. It was QUITE different to everything around at the time, it was its own version of swing but wasn’t like the rest of them.

I’m surprised they didn’t have a bigger run but they were kinda elbowed out of the way by TLC and SWV before they could truly cross over. I guess there wasn’t enough room for everyone…
