The Traitors is a competition series built on strategy, suspicion and deception, filmed in the Scottish Highlands. A team of players will compete in a series of missions, the more missions they complete successfully, the bigger the prize pot.

Everything I'm going to say is going to be unpopular here I think but gonna do it anyway... :D

Charlotte played best she could with the hand she was dealt at the end, but man she was MERCILESS and I found it quite uncomfortable how hard she went at Frankie when she already knew she was going out - that's supposed to be your best friend there. 'Do not trust this woman'.

Frankie. I actually think she played it much better than you've all given her credit for. We all said that she was doomed after she made the choice yesterday anyway and I do think there is a small chance that Leanne was almost swayed by her at the end. The worst thing to do would have been histrionics - she played it calmly and logically, also from a very difficult position.

Leanne and Jake - I have no idea why you all hate them so much. I honestly think they're both fine.

The end game problem - I stand by what I said in the other thread. There needs to be some peril to continuing to vote out faithfuls when you have just faithfuls standing, so that players can play a faithful game. If they lost 50% of the prize pool every time they carried on voting with an all faithful group left then there'd be a bigger chance of them stopping with 3 or 4 players left and then there is an ACTUAL decision to be made. Every single person voted to play to the end, and there's no chance that they'll ever stop early now, as someone else said.

The Seer - obviously didn't play out brilliantly. I think it should be brought in as a twist like it is in Werewolf/Mafia. One player randomly allocated the role at the start, and they get to find out one player's identity every night (or maybe every two nights) - but the Traitors don't know who it is and the Seer needs to try and keep their identity hidden or they'll become a massive target.

Overall a decent season, but easily the weakest finale of the 6 seasons I've watched unfortunately - I did have a very small faint hope that Leanne was going to keep Frankie in the end, so the editors did try but it didn't quite do it.

I don’t hate Leanne or Jake either- particularly him. He came across quite lovely all series, to be fair, and he was a pretty good player.

She less so, agreed, but rather her than one of the bores who do/ say nothing getting to the end.

She was a bit moany but she gave her all throughout the whole game. I really have no issue with them winning.

I only wanted Charlotte to lose of the final 5, because she fucked over Minah so unnecessarily, when I think she could have saved her and then played it so hard against Freddie and Frankie. I get that;'s the game - but her version of the Traitor play just wasn't to my personal taste.
 
I'm not sure whether this would be allowed or the producers wouldn't like it, but I think in Charlotte's position I would have proposed that Frankie pretend that she was a Faithful, they work together to eliminate everyone else, and then after Charlotte wins all the money, they split it 50/50.

It would've required a huge leap of trust on Frankie's part, but once they started fighting there was basically no way either of them could win by conventional means.

Pretty sure this would be against their contracts otherwise people would do this all the time in these things.

Because they plotted with the extra knowledge?

To be fair, you could argue that (surely) Leanne and Jake did the same. It was likely just edited out to keep the suspense.

No, more the fact that it's a combination - it should be one or the other.

And how did Leanne and Jake do the same?
 
Sorry, I've started thinking about this again and have got myself tied up in a knot. I must be missing something that didn't occur to me while watching it.

If Frankie herself was a traitor, and had discovered Charlotte was a faithful as Charlotte claimed, why would Frankie claim Charlotte was a traitor and then set herself up for a battle with her? Wouldn't it be easier to just point the finger at Alexander? What was the benefit to Frankie to lie about Charlotte? Wouldn't a traitor who unveiled a faithful just be honest about it, rather than draw suspicion on themselves with my word against yours business?

Now that it’s over I can say that the most bizarre thing about this show was the Alexander swooning- he actually makes me feel a bit queasy :confused:

I feel like at the very least Frankie and Alexander deserve to be added to the moopmoji pantheon

I'm thinking this for Frankie, so suggestions for Alexander (and anyone else) please

I almost spoilt this for myself not knowing it started early and switched the tv on during it.

The Seer was quite entertaining for an episode but ultimately took the sting out of the finale so I hope they don’t bring it back.

I didn’t mind Jake at all, I’m not sure what he did to cause so much irritation. Leanne was alright as long as you didn’t ask her a single question. Weakest finale but still a fab series. 12 months seems such a long time to wait.
