I was quite happy with the end result and would say the only alternative ending I would have preferred would be if Francesca also got a cut of the cash. Charlotte probably would have taken a share of the cash too if she wasn’t recruited as a traitor. If Minah made the final I would have been rooting for her to get the cash as I think she played a blinder all the way through. Charlotte was coasting, and although it is probably decent game play it was boring and she was also boring until her last week.

Linda of course should have got the whole pot herself and was the series highlight as although she was clueless and aloof she had a great sting in her tail. Pleasure always has a sting in its tail.
 
I wonder how Charlotte would have played it had she got to the end with a bunch of faithfuls. I don't think she would have necessarily been happy sharing it more than two ways, either.
 
Also SORRY GAYS but Alexander was NOT a memorable faithful and deserved BUGGER ALL. I also don’t see the fascination but HORSES FOR COURSES.
 
Another fantastic season of The Traitors which at this point is EASILY the best reality tv show by a country mile.
 
I think he was memorable in that he played the game quite differently and I'd very much like to be up him.
 
It being my first time in, I was amazed how few of my friends are watching. I thought it was universal but it seems gay twitter isn’t entirely representative of society in general.

Just caught up with the final and unfortunately it went down exactly the way I thought it would.
 
I’m so livid, the only thing I want to see right now is Jake and Leanne finding out Frankie and my husband are faithful to wipe that smile off their faces :evil:

I got shouted at for saying something similar at the start. It WAS annoying. She got more fun towards the end, though...once you realised just how ridiculous it all was.
 
I like Linda and feel a bit bad that she's clearly been usurped by Francesca as the one who will be offered all the Pride gigs and gay club PAs.

Just caught up with the final which I found as anticlimactic as everyone else.

Anyway aside from Minah who I was rooting for from the start, I grew to also really like Charlotte towards the end because she played the game so unapologetically (as it should be). That she was prepared to fuck over one of her closest friends, really didn't matter to me - she went down all guns blazing - what else was she supposed to have done?

Turning on Minah was her biggest mistake though (at best she could have done that later in the game) and it was unfortunate the way the entire recruiting Freddie/murdering Leanne situation played out for her.

As @Kratz said the Seer twist destroyed the natural momentum but I suppose the producers could not have predicted at the start a scenario in which a player would chose not only their closest friend in the game but also the only remaining traitor, to reveal whether they were a faithful or not.

This was the weakest series for me. They need more hard nosed contestants to take part in future editions.
 
Sorry, but how you can ask for more hard nosed contestants yet also admit to liking CHARLOTTE is alien to me.

Yes I do agree she played it great at the end but would have hated for her to win it. I think Minah probably fucked up by recruiting her but not sure who a better alternative would have been.
 
This game lacked a Maddie or a Jaz for me to want a faithfuls win.

I thought once Minah was banished that I'd give up on the series but Charlotte kept me interested enough for me to want her to win it.

Miss Scarlett is having an identity crisis.

In the 2023 edition, she is a Black British gossip columnist who writes under the pen name "Cyan". (So is she Red, Black or Blue?)

Mrs White has had a butch makeover.

Chef White, a younger character with short white hair, tattoos, and a white chef's uniform coat.

I've been watching this three and half hour deep dive into series 1 in lieu of watching the whole series again, if you fancy it! It's excellently done, and analyses interestingly enough without going too far into :david:-territory, plus it's a lovely trip down memory lane. Haven't checked if they've gone series 2 yet.

Watching this now - God I'd forgotten how hostile they all got with each other during that series!
