Sunday drops ecstacy pill at 7am

Well what else is there to do after staying up all night watching the Luxembourg national final?

Can I do a Sheena and request NO TRAITORS SPOILERS in the daily thread? Thanks girls!

VERY LAZY SUNDAY round these parts. I had a terrible nights sleep so the plan is to stay in my pyjamas all day and drift between lounging on the couch to my bed. I may get dressed this afternoon to get a takeaway from town as I don’t really have a lot in as was meant to be heading home on Friday. 🤷‍♀️

Why am I feeling ILL again?

Admittedly this just has the signs of a generic cold.

Fuck this winter. It's turned really grey and bitter outside.

I had a really nice kip last night. Not too much, not too little. I think my energy levels have returned, just in time for another cold.:nononono:

Typical hungover Sunday here. The weather is APPALLING but we’re going for a roast at our local for the first time since the new landlord has introduced them, but which might be a terrible move considering how appalling any food has been there historically.

I had my hangover yesterday. They're becoming LESS AND LESS fun.

I keep wondering when I’ll learn I can’t drink like I did in my 20s.

Well, I can, I just can’t get over it like I used to.

Yeah, that's the thing - the first 2-day hangover is the sign that it's over really. I barely drink at all now, because I can't afford to have two days feeling shit afterwards.

Yes age really doesn’t come itself and I’m a GREEDY BITCH when I start on the sauce.

I think I'm lucky in that I've always had a bit of an off switch when it comes to alcohol. And that is seems to have adapted to kick in earlier as I've got older.

If I had a bad hangover after a heavy night on a Friday in my 20s, I'd almost certainly still feel well enough to start planning Saturday night by mid afternoon. Now I need to ensure I've got nothing planned for about three days after a heavy night.

I don’t think I am quite THAT BAD. I am usually feeling pretty horrible up until around tea time and by the evening I am well enough to have a couple of wines before bed if I fancy. When on holiday I usually stick to one or two days heavy drinking as otherwise WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. I don’t want to go abroad and spend the whole time feeling dreadful unless intoxicated. A few wines/cocktails with lunch/dinner and I am always HAPPY AS HANNAH.

It's blowing a gale out there, the lights are flickering to boot.
