Only Stereolab album I've listened to in full as yet is "Emperor Tomato Ketchup" last year but I absolutely loved it. Definitely want to explore their work further.

I've got a big presentation tomorrow for a client who I've already written an 18 page response to a tender document and I can't QUITE decide what they want to see as I've already covered everything in there.

Only Stereolab album I've listened to in full as yet is "Emperor Tomato Ketchup" last year but I absolutely loved it. Definitely want to explore their work further.

I was hammering Transient Random Noise Bursts With Announcements, which is the peak of their early fuzz-organ motorik style. Hasn't aged a day in (*gulps*) 32 years.

We're at the Food Dock right this minute in fact, in the Scandinavian Coffee Pod.

Haven't been past the bus station area yet - we always leave the railway station by the back exit as there's a scuzzy old road with some charity shops Mr L likes to visit as you walk up to get into town proper that way. I'm sure we'll see it on the way back though. I remember the last time there was loads of building work going on there.

Ooh, I've never thought of you as SLACK

But, I know, RIGHT? This is a big corporate company who are ticking boxes that just don't need to be ticked for what is a reasonable chunk of work but one that can be handled fairly easily and where my presentation skills are going to add absolutely NOTHING to the mix of their end product.

I've been inspired to give 1997's "Dots & Loops" a listen. If all goes well I might experiment with their less commercial EFFORTS

This was a very SOOTHING listen. Spoiled a bit by having to stop mid-album to do a work presentation for an hour

"Diagonals", "Miss Modular" & "Parsec" are early FAVOURITES.

I wonder if a young SOPHIE was listening at the time.
