I doubt it will do much chart wise mind after the first week, but I don't care about that anymore with her :disco:

I haven’t really listened to Gaga since fifth grade when she was popular but this is joyous. :disco: Especially the Abracadabra dance parts are stuck in my head. And the video — congratulations to whoever made that splendid choreo!:o

Audio probably a 9 at this stage but I am bit giddy having just watched the video so a 10 it is.

The lady in red and operatic wailing are the best bits.

I rather like this. Being creatively bankrupt has rarely sounded or looked so good :disco:

Just played it on my sound system and it's so much fun. I keep screaming at the absolutely nonsense lyrics. I said it in another forum before but Gaga is best when she doesn't overthink it....or at all. Looking forward to the album.

It's rising up for me too...but then I hoped and prayed (crying and screaming) it would grow.

Which vinyl variants are we getting then

Or does this need its own thread *sigh*

And I’m sorry but I declare it her best song since Rain on Me

Yeah I know

“Oh”

She must’ve assumed it was going to flop because why is she doing Mastercard commercials?

I don't think that's how brand partnerships work!! Mastercard sponsor tours, she's going on tour, and they will run campaigns and ads during events like Super Bowl.

4.9m on global. strong. Disease debuted at #12 with 4.45m and then dropped to #23 the next day with less than 3m. so tomorrow will be the big test.

It seems to have made a much bigger splash in general than Disease - like you say let's see how it holds up!

who is the lady with the walking stick in both videos trying to destroy Gaga? Is it her OLD-SELF?
it's the CHARACTER of MAYHEM herself, also known as the LADY IN RED as referenced in verse two of Abracadabra. please keep up!!!

Mother Mayhem is a manifestation of Gaga's destructive side, her id, the devil on her shoulder, the voice in her head saying "record an album of covers from The Great American Songbook."

I think you're very brave for voicing this and risking MANIFESTATION because this is absolutely an inevitability at some point in her career
