After not being seen for weeks Stumpy the squirrel was around at half past seven this morning and kept telling me he wanted more nuts so up to now he's taken three hazelnuts, an almond, a brazil nut, three monkey nuts and two grapes. I've spent ages sat on the back step in the glorious sunshine with him. I think he's buggered off home again now, haven't heard him tapping on the window for nearly an hour.

Back in Salisbury for the day. It's absolutely glorious. For the first time the temperature has made me appreciate it's nearly spring.

She is settled there now to be honest.

I now just get a shot of her every now and again. It wasn’t fair on her as I was away quite a lot last year. Dogs are very tying, but she is so happy with mum and mums little dog Dolly.

I have hung some washing out and is sad how satisfying that is

I thought about it and decided it's too cold to dry anything properly so mine's in the dryer (washing line only gets sun for three hours after sunrise). Load two has just come out of the machine and will need to wait for the dryer to finish, load three has just gone in the washer. It's bedding and towels day as well as clothes. I can't wait to get in my fresh bed tonight!
