Who am I? *BUZZ* You're Wednesday

I actually can’t believe it’s Wednesday. I just spent around a minute arguing with myself that it is only Tuesday. Going senile, or being retired really has messed up my body clock.
 
Because Ms Ron now does four day weeks and I join in on that fun Tuesday night is half the weeks graft done. Its fucking amazing. It should be law.

I think it depends on the company. Some are doing longer days across 4, some are just saying have the day off.

Generally speaking the results show it to be a net positive nearly everywhere. How many people just go in on a Friday and fuck about anyway? May as well keep the leccy bill down.

Is their salary adjusted if the company say to have the Friday off? I think it really depends on what type of work you do, surely?

Usually no. In fact Ms Ron gets paid more in this job now than in her last 5 day week job.
 
Just got back from the hospital and we're going to go down the route of ANOTHER operation for my acid reflux but am told this time it's likely to be "less effective overall than the first operation", despite THAT not working and the alternatives aren't really available where I live.

Just feels like it will NEVER FUCKING END.
 
But yeah it depends on the job. If you work set hours in retail for example thats different to an office job.

But say for us when we had salaried staff I was always focused on output. I don't care when someone works as long as deadlines are met, expectations are met and the quality of work is as it should be. Work at 2am in your pants or 8am in the office, whatever works for you.

No, because Mounjaro actually makes it worse in the short term as a side effect, but then I knew that already. I've been this weight before and still had reflux- it's pathological rather than lifestyle related reflux, though, granted, weight gain makes it worse.

Interestingly, my surgeon said today that had I not done Mounjaro, he would have recommended I try a gastric bypass for the reflux and see if that helped. SO AFTER ALL THIS FUCKING TIME, I NEEDN'T HAVE BOTHERED GETTING THIN YOU MEAN?

Oh definitely. Any improvement will help.

There are also newer treatments that I don’t have access to thanks to my postcode but hopefully if this doesn’t work, they’ll try one of those.
