Just back from a dental check-up, the news gets worse every time I go. I now have to book a full mouth x-ray at the hospital, called OPG, but it's likely the teeth will be coming out at the hospital under general anaesthetic anyway because all of the top ones have to come out in one go, including my front crowns, but one of my second wisdom teeth is so far back in the corner that they can't reach it with normal dental instruments. He also thinks some of my bottom ones may need to go too.

I was willing to pay £300 an hour for IV sedation to have it done at the surgery and leave the wisdom tooth in but that's only for private patients, not povvy NHS people like me.

I couldn’t have resisted. It’s like “porn in the park” but elevated.

I did think of CINDERELLA straight away when I looked at it. Although a broad footed ugly sister trying to fit in to Primarks finest rather than glass slippers.
