From "Parasite" director Bong-Joon Ho (there's a blink & you'll miss it visual reference to that film's house at one point) & starring Robert Pattinson, who's proving to be a much more interesting & versatile actor than the TWILIGHT YEARS suggested.

Bob plays an amiable everybloke who signs up as an expendable employee who keeps dying for a sinister corporation looking to colonise an inhabited planet. There's several farcical moments but it's quite a BLEAK & CHILLINGLY REALISTIC look at how BIG BUSINESS sees us all as nothing more than worthless pieces of shit to basically be enslaved to their every need.

Let down only by a grating turn from Mark Ruffalo, who was too LOOK I'M FUTURISTIC DONALD TRUMP, which kept jarring me out of the setting. Toni Collette was as fab as ever as his wife though, striking the balance just right.

I liked it even if it wasn't as good as "Parasite", but then, WHAT IS?

I'd definitely recommend "Parasite" - it's a masterpiece.

Looking forward to this. It seems to have been a bit of a torturous production, and I was a little concerned that they've shoved it out in the post-Oscars wasteland, but the reviews have been largely glowing.

Overall I found this disappointing, BUT never not charming and always watchable with it. The script and dialogue could have been a lot sharper, but when the initial premise is this strong and you’ve got a cast as delightful as R-Patz/Yeun/Ackie there’s still lots to enjoy. Lovely also to see Haydn Gwynne in what must be her last role.

Ruffalo and Colette didn’t really work at all, or fit in properly with the rest of the story. I too find Ruffalo ghastly and would rather he stopped being in things I want to watch.

Mark Ruffalo in You Can Count On Me is one of my favourite male acting performances of all time, though I do find that in more recent years he does have a tendency to run to ham.

I thought they used that aspect of him really well in Poor Things. But other times he can be a bit much.

I found this really disappointing. The premise was good and I liked the (heavy handed) message but the humor didn’t land. Also the senator was doing enough of a Trump impression that it was noticeable, but not close enough to make it good

I was a bit underwhelmed by this. Maybe I misunderstood the trailer, but I expected plenty of "fun" and interesting deaths, not for most of them just to be as a result of vaccine trials Then once it got to the multiples stage, it went in a direction I didn't expect, though I did appreciate the vegan/"let's save all the creatures" message.

I can't say the romantic plot with Naomi Ackie was something I really needed, though can't blame her for wanting to have a go with Mickey 17 and 18 at the same time
