Considering I had no interest in the original Eternal Sunshine apart from We Can’t be Friends let’s see how this pans out for Miss Grande and Suede

She just doesn’t make good albums does she

Lovely singles artist thou

Eternal Sunshine is such a good album, time to do a Suede-turn! @Suedehead

Easily her best work so far.
I just don't know if I can deal with her voice for a whole album.
I like her songs individually when I hear them out or on a playlist, but she's very much a 'less is more' type of artist for me.

I could listen to her sing the phone book, that voice is gorgeous.

The album is so beautifully bittersweet from start to finish, and every song delivers.

I really liked this album too, it’s mostly the slightly more downbeat stuff I really enjoyed. My album rank (for those I’ve heard)

1 Sweetener
2 Thank U, Next
3 Eternal Sunshine
4 Dangerous Woman
5 Positions

Lovely extension - Twilight Zone and Warm (which is wonderfully filthy) are the standouts.

Twilight Zone will be gobbled up by radio the next weeks - deservedly so. :disco:

Twilight Zone was my immediate standout.

This is a brilliant add on to the original album. Totally in keeping with the original style, and she's not shying away from staying with the confessional lyrics. It's made her best album even better.

The short film:

Ariana ascending to the spaceship to the sounds of "Supernatural" in the Castle In The Sky reference is an absolute moment.

Wow, "Warm" is STUNNING. The production, OMG.

It's a great accompaniment to "We Can't Be Friends" - it should have been on the original album.

“Warm” now officially my favourite Ariana song EVER.

What a song to listen to in the summer sun :disco:

Easily her tightest body of work including brighter days ahead - reminiscent of What’s Your Pleasure in terms of having a rerelease that perfectly expands on the original.

Agree this is an excellent deluxe, and it is very comfortably the most enjoyable I've found an Ariana album.

It’s definitely her most consistent body of work for me. Pretty much all of her other albums I only really enjoy a handful of songs on. I can’t say I hate anything on this.
