Girls Aloud or The Sugababes?

I have always been a follower of Sugababes from the beginning (right up until 4.0 but I did still listen and enjoy the demo versions from Sweet 7 that were Keishas vocals) and more of a casual fan of Girls Aloud.

I appreciate them both for their individual sounds and love that they did a duet (wish it was a stronger song mind).

I think Sugababes have the better back catalogue of material overall and Girls Aloud are the much better touring act and deliver spectacle… not to reduce their output to just spectacle, there is obviously substance behind that.

Overall I just preferred the edginess of the Sugabababes and was too far invested even after that edge had been diminishing with every member change.
