Yeah for all Farage's cuntyness he's good at delivering clear and simple messages people can get behind. That Polanski guy seems to fit that ilk but hopefully with a more positive and left wing vibe.

End of the day, the left needs simple messages that people can rally around like the right does so well.

honestly, good on her for standing aside. Polansky who's said he'll be running for leadership in July seems to have big ideas about how to make people more passionate about the Greens. and their internal party process feels democratic and designed for this. we need genuine left opposition parties. now is the time.
 
When I first when freelance years ago I did some work for a company that provided care home staff. 100% were from outside of the UK, mostly Eastern Europe.

No native of this country wants to be paid £12.50 an hour to sit in a room wiping the arse of a incontinent old person with dementia, its nothing to do with skills and training.
 
I have doubts about Polansky because the whole FORMER LIB DEM BOOB HYPNOTIST thing gives me serious GRIFTER vibes which isn't helped by promising to be the left Farage but, what the hell, WHY NOT? It's not like the Greens have much to lose.

That story is a bit of a non starter really, and yeah, i think the greens have a lot of good left leaning policies but they’ve been a bit too weak in pushing them. They need a gobby cunt to get them out there in nice meaningless soundbites

Proper Tory "nasty party" stuff, so short sighted. You only have to go to any NHS run facility to see immigrants are the backbone of the staff.

I feel like - maybe - he's seeing the Conservative Party on its knees and is falling in this direction in an attempt to fully finish them off (something which he could happily be leaving Reform and the Conservatives to do to themselves!)

My frustration with the Greens is there are a lot of good ideas but they aren’t communicated very well. From my limited experience of trying to get stuck in with them they seem to spend more time talking about what to do than actually doing stuff.

Hopefully he can do something about that.
 
I literally just sat in the pub with someone (sharing a table, not actually friends with I MIGHT ADD) who votes Reform and was just banging on about how AWFUL Labour are and how they would NEVER vote for them in a million years and how they (not the Tories) are the reason they've stuffed up the NHS.

Which just about SAYS IT ALL.

Only a week ago I was banging on about voting Labour to keep Reform out and honestly, right now, I'm not sure I can even do that.
