So is he fully back to the CATQ moniker now? Is this the precursor to a new french disco album? PLEASE LET IT BE SO

 
I think he still goes by Rahim Redcar but I guess the label have made him use Christine and the Queens for the streams or whatever...
 
wanted to love this from the clips teased but the full thing is a bit meh? the songwriting is strong but the production never goes anywhere. it's funky enough but the song needs a climax that never comes.
 
He has released under Rahim before (and most recently, I thought), so I was a little perplexed as well why the change for this release.

Anyway, I like it quite a lot, but can't get excited by it. Probably as like Jark says, it never feels like it reaches any destination.
 
I'm there too. Nice enough, but it's not going to set anything alight and could do with a few more PEAKS and TROUGHS.
 
The video elevates it for me, and I previously would have agreed that it was good-but-not-great but I had a MOMENT to this yesterday with the earphones in - the production is amazing and the vocal is top notch. I recommend repeated listens.
 
Love the shift towards Hi-NRG with Last One (Standing).

That is a very respectable RE-DO of Supernature too.
