Who is the most missed soap character?

Such a shame she was killed off

I don't watch it now so not sure if there's another trans character but it could do with one for people to sympathise with given the way things have been going.

I thoroughly recommend to anyone who is bored to look up the various Alexis vs Sable clips on YouTube from when Sable joined Dynasty. The famous “this champagne is burnt” Alexis vs Dominique gets all the attention, but vs Sable is camp comedy GOLD!

“Well, Alexis, I see you survived Africa. It’s a dangerous place for most animals but no problem for you, of course…”

When they recruited Sable for a foil for Alexis in the final season of Dynasty (as Linda Evans/Krystle had left) and moved her from The Colbys, they basically told Stephanie Beacham to just let rip. She fucking chews the scenery in every shot and becomes Alexis’ best nemesis of the entire show.

It helps that Joan and Stephanie famously got on like a house on fire- the chemistry crackles.
 
I was more into Dallas than Dynasty, so Sue Ellen would be more my choice for this thread.

I love that you have watched all of these. I assumed it was just me!

Alexis v Sable was amazing and it is a shame it came too late to save Dynasty from cancellation.

Watched them all at the time, again on rewatches and again on YouTube hundreds of times. Just too good!

Sable is both my equal favourite tv character and equal spirit animal, along with Patsy Stone. Mr Sheena even made me a “greatest Sable moments” birthday card a few years back and I have a Sable “Shoulder Padded Schemer” t shirt, that sadly I can only wear around the house these days as it’s way too big for me. I need to find a Sable bauble to go with my Patsy one.
