I could see this taking off- it contains a sample of Physical by ONJ.

 
I actually quite like what I've listened to from him but this is disgustingly twee.
 
So, 99% of my Instagram followers use this song in the background for their stories, and all this time I thought it was Maroon 5; his voice tone and delivery are so Adam Levine coded, it's ridiculous. The song also sounds like a Harry Styles ripoff. Is there anything original about this poor guy?

Did he come from American Idol? I haven’t watched in a while, but the talent was always outstanding.
 
Do trolls really call him a one hit wonder?!

I mean one is gigantic, but he isn’t a stranger to the charts with a solid 4 or 5 others, and he’s #35 in the world on Spotify. If that makes him a one hit wonder then fuck a duck.
 
Yeah you hear that a lot. Even Louie from the Pop Pantheon podcast called him one and I’m like let’s be serious. He may not be a fave of yours but he has more than one “hit” at least here in the US.
 
I suppose some people may think when you have Sabrina Carpenter pulling out a run of massive hits that that's somehow usual, but it's really not, is it? Her success has been exceptional and his run has been far closer to the norm. And indeed there are plenty of acts who have barely registered at all after one huge hit.
 
Yeah exactly, especially in a streaming world. A #24 that spends 20+ weeks in the chart is the equivalent of a standard #5 probably in the physical era.

He has a second song above a billion streams and a third at 800 million. How they aren’t considered a hit is wild. Well actually, it’s simply not true. It’s people being dumb and not researching.
 
he’s had that huge song Beautiful Things and then three top 40s and one at 86.

That's a good video and the song is fine too. It is a start to working off the jumpsuits, cringey album cover and MOMMY SONG
 
There's a song called 'Man in Me' on the new album, but it's not about getting his lovely arse filled :(

I don't even know his famous songs. I am aware of his profile however, chasing the queer fanbase. Styles does it far more naturally.
