Saucy Tuesday

I've just made a chilli sauce to put on my eggs. It was delicious.
 
HIYA. Bit giddy, glad I boxed off most of my work yesterday as I've mostly been faffing around this morning (and making sure the ket works)

My train to Paris was delayed by 3 hours due to a fatality on the tracks, and now we’ve been held at Calais due to a SECOND fatality on the tracks.

So Mum’s funeral done. Eulogy went well, nice family time, all good.

I ended up in absolute floods of tears at the people who turned up. I always refused to let my Mum be an OAP and so took her out to a lot of my social events and by FUCK, today was filled with so many of my lovelies who knew her, it was wonderful. Friends came from as far as North Wales for her. Absolute joy.

It is one of the things that sticks in my mind that my mother's funeral was absolutely stuffed. The church was full and the crematorium was standing room only. That provided tremendous comfort later on when I thought on that.

How lovely! And how it should be- best way it can be.

So many of my mum’s friends are already dead. She was one of the last ones standing. I felt bad for her beforehand but my friends totally filled the aisles!
