Stephen Fry is a doofus. How someone so intelligent can't see past the horseshit is just wild. Maybe this is the beginning of him seeing the reality, we'll see.
 
Why are we critiquing him? He's coming out against the devil?

From what I;ve read, he's not actually saying Trans Rights just that Rowling's gone too far. If I'm wrong about that, happy to correct.
 
Wasn’t he anti-trans at some point? Or anti- something “woke”…I forget.

Well, this is what I was saying - if he's beginning to see that he's been duped then that's a major start. But given his previous remarks, he'll have to actually say something.

I had to google who Taylor Silverman was, so she's obviously not made much impact in my life.

I mean trans men and nb people can be pregnant, but it is vanishingly rare. I think one of the first times Rowling kicked off was because a SCIENTIFIC PAPER, which is meant to be accurate and not for general public consumption, used the phrases "pregnant people" and "people who menstruate".

People use “pregnant people” as an inclusive term as trans men and some non-binary people can and do get pregnant.
 
I just scoured her Twitter for a moment and my god it is worse than ever. She literally only tweets about this now. All the time. She is completely dark and twisted and obsessed and it’s really really sad.
 
I don't find it sad anymore, I just want her gone. it's sad when they first fall down the rabbit hole. when they use their billionaire influence to try to stir hatred en masse, bring legal cases against anyone and everyone, and influence the media and the law... then the time for sadness has passed. then it's just scary because they're so dangerous.
 
It’s so maddening how the media are protecting her and painting her as some Emily Pankhurst figure when if they just shared a fraction of the filth she puts out online they wouldn’t for a second be able to declare she isn’t transphobic.
 
She's apparently encouraging people to take photos inside toilets incase they're transgender.

Her seat at the table comes from her billionaire status. She is at the centre of a multi-billion pound industry so what she says is given a place it wouldn't otherwise. If, in a parallel universe, the first Harry Potter film had flopped, she would still be wealthy but she wouldn't have the platform that she does. If JK Rowling had decided that the terfs were actually mental and Elon Musk hadn't been a deadbeat dad, we could be living in a very different world.

Which is why there should be no such thing as billionaires and their wealth should be seized and redistributed. Sorry Taylor.
 
Honestly "take pictures in the toilets to report trans people" is giving me actual Nazi vibes. Given she also told someone to go and jump off a roof (in a plausible deniable way involving broomsticks) I'm not sure she's THAT many months of escalation away from going all Final Solution. I mean according to thinly veiled accusations they're kiddly diddlers so it's fine right?

Being hysterical I know. I think. I hope. I mean people will finally realise what she is and turn their backs right?

The best way to protect women is, of course, to take pictures of them in the bathroom going about their private business if you consider them NOT FEMININE ENOUGH FOR YOUR LIKING, eh?

Talk about a real time study of how a combo of social media, social isolation & too much money & ego stroking over the years has allowed utter brainrot to set in.
 
if there's anything funny about all of this it's that she's STILL writing under a male pseudonym for her "proving I can do something beyond magic" detective fiction series. she's very mad about what she perceives to be "men playing cosplay as women" in everyday life, but she's very happy to do just that in reverse within the context of her own career in order to be taken seriously. and probably too thick to have ever paused once to consider the irony of that.
