I tried to find a photo that circulated on Dotmusic around 2002, during the Glitter/ Charmbracelet Era when she was sporting a terrible weave, standing beside a river(?). If you looked closely, there was something in her eyes, or maybe it was the pose, that made it seem like she was on the verge of completely losing it. The entire image radiated a strange, overwhelmingly sad aura. Oh, and she was wearing a hideous knitted top.
That image just encompassed the whole meaning of "Signs that a diva is on the wane"
