In some ways. The going home halfway through has made it feel less daunting than it might have been, albeit that wasn’t for exactly fun reasons.

I’m just looking forward to getting back to normality. Or at least a new normal. The amount of times I’ve checked myself going “must do XXX for my/ go visit my/ take home XXX for my…Mum” has been insane.

Had an incredible weekend. Bolted for the coast on friday in a tiny 107 but managed pack the kayak. Spent yesterday on the water, came home this morning, had a siesta then went for a bbq in the park with friends. Proper summer.
